BRIDGEWATER LEASES WAREHOUSE TO WORLD-RENOWNED PAINT BRUSH COMPANY

Updated: Feb 15

LARGO, Fla.  (May 4, 2023) – The Silver Brush brand of fine artists’ paint brushes has become synonymous with top quality in its niche industry. The company announced this week it is relocating its operations to the Tampa Bay region from Windsor, N.J.

Used by some of the globe’s most prominent artists, Silver Brushes have painted official White House portraits of U.S. presidents and first ladies dating back to President Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan. Other prominent leaders painted with Silver Brushes include Pope John Paul II, Princess Diana, British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and musical and movie stars including Luciano Pavarotti, Tony Bennett, and John Wayne.

Bridgewater Commercial Real Estate’s Dee Maret represented Silver Brush Limited in securing a five-year lease at a 6,000 square feet assembly and distribution facility just off U.S. Hwy 19 in Largo. “Unlike most products sold to consumers today, artist brushes, in our quality class, are still manufactured for the most part by hand. Brushes are made by artisans who have apprenticed with master brush makers for very long periods of time,” the company’s founder Dee Silver said.

A family-owned and operated business since 1991, Silver Brush has recently transitioned to its second generation under the direction of Dee Silver’s oldest son, Warren Flax.

Hayes & Associates’ Don Golliher represented the landlord in the transaction.
