Updated: Apr 2

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (March 12,  2024) – Bridgewater Commercial Real Estate announces the sale of a 10,747 square foot industrial/flex property used as a brewery and tap room. The real estate sold for $2,300,000 and accompanied an asset sale of $300,000.

The property was formally home to Flying Boat Brewing Company, and The Brutalist Temple of Beer, which was owned and operated by Tampa’s King State Coffee Roasters. The building consists of a large brewing facility, a taproom with multiple seating areas, a conference room, and a large outdoor patio. It is also centrally located between Historic Uptown and North Kenwood, and just north of Tropicana Field.

The buyer plans on opening and operating a unique brewery concept that will utilize the entire interior and the outdoor patio. “Ever since this listing hit the market, members of the surrounding neighborhoods have been hoping this location would open as another brewery. I am excited to see what the buyers do with the property, and I have no doubt that it will serve the community well” said Bridgewater’s commercial associate, Davis Nunneley.

Davis Nunneley of Bridgewater Commercial Real Estate represented the seller in the real estate transaction. Demetri Venetos of the Florida Business Exchange represented the buyer in the real estate transaction and handled the asset purchase.
