Buyer lands development opportunity blocks from Bayfront Hospital and Tropicana Field
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (May 25, 2023) – Bridgewater Commercial Real Estate announces the sale of a land assemblage just south of Downtown in Historic Roser Park for $1.275 million.
The 3-parcel assemblage at MLK and 11th Ave. S – totals more than three-quarters of an acre – and is ripe for multifamily development for up to 19 units. The land sits close to Bayfront Hospital, USF- St. Pete, the Salvador Dali Museum, and Albert Whitted Airport. Roser Park was the first subdivision to be developed outside of Downtown and retains much of its early 20th Century charm – including an eclectic mix of American architecture situated around tree-lined, bricked streets and rolling hills.
“The investors are getting a great piece of land. The parcels are not in a flood zone, and they are in an Opportunity Zone. This assemblage is just seven blocks south of the highly anticipated 86-acre Tropicana Field redevelopment and that project should create a lot of extra momentum along MLK,” Bridgewater broker-associate Dee Maret said.
